Dog Calmer and no more barking problems

"Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how happy Woody and I are that you came into our lives. Before we met you Woody was having these problems and could not get thru to me. He barked all day long at the front sliding glass doors. I had "nose-art" all over the front windows. No matter what I did I could not get him to stop barking.

My friends would walk by and feel so bad they would come in and get him and take him out. He was tearing up the papers on the floor in the kitchen and tossing his bed all over the living room. I would leave the TV on all day even though he was almost deaf. He could hear my whistles and claps. When he came home from the kennel he couldn't hear a thing. I tried everything. Clapping right at his ears when he was asleep. Whistling really close to him and nothing happened. I just thought that he finally had gone completely deaf.

Then you came to see us. We had a nice visit. You had a nice talk with Woody and gave him some wonderful physical assists. It has been a week and a few days and I can't believe how different he is. He now can hear again whistles claps and commands. He has completely, and I mean completely stopped barking. I have come home at lunch and at dinner and he has not been near the door. He has not barked the last 10 days. He seems to be a lot happier and less agitated about staying home alone.

We really thank you for taking such good care of us. I am following all your instructions and we are doing really good. We look forward to seeing you again"

Your new friends,
- Linda and Woody"

A Happy rottie!

"We have had our 10+ year old Rottweiler/Lab for over 8 years, and for all that time, she has had bouncing energy. If we open the door for her to go in the car for a ride, she has always done 3 laps around the car before we open the door. Out of the blue - she had incredible difficulty getting up and walking. She would whimper and yelp with pain. She would wake up suddenly yelping in pain. We took her to the vet for X-rays. We were told she had displasia and some signs of arthritis. Her X-rays actually showed "holes" in her bones. The vet said we could keep her comfortable and that was all the hope he had. He suggested we contact Marlo because she "talks to the animals".

Marlo came over and gave Ruby several hands on "Assists" and the next day she was her old self again. She was leaping about as though nothing had occurred, to the point where my family, who had been upset about her collapse - couldn't believe the changes in her. Ruby has continued to enjoy good health and activity. "

A Happy Horse Family

I am a horse and dog owner. I also run a private holistic horse boarding and rehab facility in So. California . Over the years, I’ve used the services of various animal communicators (some very well known—not psychics), all of whom have been very helpful to me and to my animal-loving friends. However, in recent years I’ve used the services of a friend, Marlo Kimmel, who has been helpful beyond measure in contributing to the health, well-being, and longevity of my animals, as well to my own peace of mind as their owner.

Though I have always felt I had a good comm line with my animals—an ability that I believe all of us have to a greater or lesser degree—Marlo’s abilities go way beyond my own or that of most of my friends. As we all know, excellent communication can make a significant difference in our relationships with people. It is no less true when it comes to animals, the challenge being how to get past the “language” barrier. This is where Marlo comes in!

I have used Marlo to help me deal with animal illness, animals that were “worried”, seemingly irresolvable problems, mysterious and unexplained behavior, relationships between themselves and people or other animals, and upsets. She uses every bit of training at her disposal that is appropriate for use with animals. And she has NEVER failed to get a product for me—whether that product was more understanding, knowledge, reality, or solutions. As a result of this cooperative effort between us, my animals are rarely sick, rarely need the services of veterinarians, and are calm and happy. Even people who visit my ranch remark how “different” our ranch and animals are.

And the effect this increased communication and understanding has had on me is no less significant. I am happier in my relationship with my animals as well! I

NO More Police!!

"I have 4 dogs, 2 of which are over 100 pounds. When Jasper and Ava my big guys bark they are very loud.  I had a neighbor who got very upset over their barking and once he saw their size became terrified of them.  I tried everything to quiet them.  I fixed up a special room for them, soundproofed etc.  I confined them more and suddenly Jasper became very aggressive towards me.  Ava became very nervous and upset.  I had them outside for walks but I am an attorney, so I often did not return home till later evening.  Over a period of 6 months the neighbor called the police 4 times on my "loud and dangerous" dogs.  One evening I drove up and the police were sitting in my drive way waiting for me.  I was told I had to "do something" because the neighbor and others now were afraid of the dogs.  I tried everything to handle it.  So much so that I let my house go completely till I coulnd't stand it.  Then Jasper attacked my other smaller dog and almost killed her.  He also turned on me but I was able to handle him.  100 pounds and I'm 90!! My work as a lawyer is in the field of human rights, I have very valuable and help many people.  I also love my animals.  I realized I made a very bad choice of house - too small - and neighborhood.  I'd wanted to be close to my work.  I started not sleeping at night unable to fully figure out a handle.  Then someone referred me to Marlo.  She came over and my dog Jasper immediately tried to attack her -overcoming a barrier I'd put in to protect myself and others.  Marlo didn't back down.  She was so calm and peaceful.  I had not been totally honest with Marlo about the situation because I was sure she would not come and help me.  I'd had other trainers run out of the house!!  Once Marlo collected herself she asked me a series of questions - ranging - from type of dog food to kinds of exercise etc.  She saw I was totally overwhelmed and that my house was a wreck.  She wrote out a full program of actions for me to do.  She had me do hand on "assists. This helped immediately.  She then had me organize my house so that I could better utilize the space.  This helped me to create a calmer environment for myself.  As I went thru the recommendations one day I noticed the dogs were much quieter.  No more complaints have come in, NO police.  I didn't mention that the police fined me each time they came out.  the next time would have been a $275.00 fine.

Marlo put in a full exercise program for myself and the dogs.  I could not believe it but she trained Jasper to walk on the treadmill, which he now loves and to run and Rollerblade with me so that we can both be outside and get exercise.  He has lost weight and is very healthy now.  No more aggression!!  People can come over to my house and not feel afraid.  Her program was simple, strait-forward and common sense."  She's incredible.  N. Dog Bitten and Recovered

"I have retold the story many times about how you were instrumental in restoring our dog, Styles to his former condition after being bitten by another dog. Actually, he was in a bit better condition after you talked to us as a family and helped us to create a calm environment around him just after the attack.  He would have nothing to do with us and avoided his "boys".  After his assists this improved and he could be hugged and cuddled again by the entire family. Your help turned a not so great situation into a great situation."

Loss of a Cherished Pet

I wanted to share how good I felt after receiving Marlo Kimmel's services. My cat Pika passed away about two months ago. Needless to say I was devastated. Pika was like my best friend, my daughter, I have no children so she was like a child to me at times.  That was really a pain I can not explain to you in words. I got in contact with Marlo and she gave me some wonderful information to read and use, that helped me to feel better. I miss my cat dearly but I can honestly say that it is not as hard as it used to be to remember or think of my cat. I was really surprised by the professionalism, the care, the sensitivity that Marlo showed me when helping me out over the phone. I have been lucky to come across very valuable beings in my lifetime and Marlo really made a huge impression on me.  Marlo is a true professional through and through, she is just amazing. I'm so grateful that people like her are around to help, she really does make this planet a better place to live in. Thank you Marlo, I can not really express how grateful I feel towards you for the great service you gave me.
Love, I. A. Los Angeles, CA.

Fay and Evie - A love story

I Adopted Evie when she was only a few weeks old, It was love at first sight for both of us, and she has been with me since then, she is my baby!, but time has gone by and she is 15 1/2 years old now. Before we met Marlo Evie was getting down a lot, She wasn't moving much, she was falling a lot when she walked, she was cranky and moody sometimes, she was loosing weight and not eating much, she was loosing interest in life, and what was worst I could see the sad look in her eyes sometimes like she was in pain and didn't know what was going on, and she wasn't happy about it, and it was just breaking my heart, I felt like my hands were tied because she was getting old and feeling bad and it seemed like there was nothing I could do to help her than watch her get older, and that was very frustrating for me, it was painful and stressing, I used to cry every single day and night thinking about the time when she would leave because it seemed the time was closer and I was so sad and didn't know what to do, I was loosing my baby.

.......BUT THEN CAME MARLO TO THE RESCUE!
Marlo helped us in so may ways. I don't know how to explain it, but she looked better after her the first time Marlo worked with her.  I started Evie's training like Marlo told me and doing everything she told me to and now after a few training sessions with Marlo I AM ABSOLUTELY HAPPY to say that Evie is in Excellent Shape!, We are closer than ever before, our communication is so much better and stronger, I love her so much!!! even more than I did before ( If that was ever possible!), and I know she feels the same way too, she plays with her ball, she chew toys, she even wore a customer for Halloween!!,  She looks happier, and eats better, she feels better because I can see it, she is more uptone and I know she is enjoying life more now, She is resting better and she still takes care of me like my guardian angel but not with the stress she used to show, she walks around the house and when we go out she explores and sits on the grass to contemplate the view and likes to feel the sun, and it just feels as if she was given 10 years more, I mean I don't feel her age anymore, I used to feel her age and it worried me, but now I see Evie and I just SEE Evie, and I don't feel she is leaving any time soon, because she is happy and healthy, and Marlo helped us to achieve this change and she gave life to Evie, she helped her to be better and feel better and to be happy again.

Marlo, I don't know how to thank you!,
Evie and I (because I know she feels the same way) we think that you are an angel, An angel that helps little angels just like Evie.
WE LOVE YOU FAY AND EVIE

Found Cat: Guenivere's Story

"When I first discovered my cat Guenivere, she was sleeping quite comfortably on top of a pile of kittens in a pet store. A kitten herself, she was clearly  independent and driven from the start, completely content being on top of her brothers and sisters. Crazy I thought, with her long wild tiger stripped hair to prove it. I adopted her. What ensued were months of escaping to climb an occasional tree, just to jump down backwards. skittish, courageous and rambunctious. She'd moan, scared half to death, if you just picked her up to hold her. She's an indoor cat but if had her way would live in a jungle, of that I'm sure. Anyway, two weeks before her 5th birthday, she jumped off my second story deck as a result of the arrival of my new Chihuahua puppy. After being chased for three days, and spending endless hours hiding under my bed, she had time enough to plan her immediate escape. Escape, that is, off my deck and straight into the woods behind my apartment. Now she's a talker, or a complainer shall I say, so whenever I spoke to her she was always quick with a definitive answer.  Right under my nose, at 10:30pm, I saw her walk discretely to the screen door which I purposely locked.  That is when I saw the large hole. Apparently, as if she had seen Shawshank Redemption, she scratched what started out as a small hole into a larger one in order for her to fit through. She did and was gone. All of this during New Jersey's end of July record breaking heat wave and lightning storms.

After a few days, I was fortunate to meet Marlo. In the half hour that we spoke, she was able to speak get enough information to lead me on my search. Long story short,  I went two blocks in the wrong direction and had a forty-eight hour chase fest with someone else's cat, that looked almost identical to Guen, with the help of a small community of people.  I telephoned Marlo distraught. She said, "More flyers! She is alive and waiting for you!" So I remained positive like Marlo told me to and instead of reaching for her, made like I was a magnet.  Clues and phone calls started coming in. I heard Marlo's voice in my head,    " Be calm, look behind the woods, you've already found her."  I remained steadfast. Flyers were put behind three different wooded areas and in mailboxes. I waited.
Finally, it was her birthday the following day, after over two weeks of heat and storm and night was falling. Marlo said, " have confidence that you will soon have her in hand." and it gave me confidence and faith even though I had nothing left. I cried as I closed the door that night to go to sleep. It was her birthday. She is alone, scared, and never been out over night before.   As I locked the door for the night, tears streamed down my face. I fell asleep saying to myself, " Guenivere is found, she is home in her bed." I said this over and over, repeating the positive ideas. Next morning the phone rings, it was a call from a woman two blocks away ... in the other direction ... behind the woods. Still half asleep, I hastily threw on clothes and sped away. Upon arrival, the woman tells me that a cat was just here. I asked, "Fluffy tail???" like I've asked 50 times before. She said "Yes." So I stood with my back to her house and just stared and searched with my eyes into the woods, too tired to move or hear the same sound of my voice calling for her anymore. I thought of all that Marlo said. Then in a soft voice, barely a whisper and practically giving up, I mustered up the last hope of what little I had left and spoke, as if she was already there...  "Guenivere, it's Mommy."  A stones throw away, I hear the women yell. " I hear meowing over here!"  I darted over and there she was, hiding in the tall grass.  As I picked her up, I turned around and saw a white house with a large green roof awning over the doorway of the women's house who had called me. I then looked down at my now much smaller cat and saw specks of white paint covering her black fur. I was over joyed and even more grateful.
At the vet that day, to my surprise, she had not a flea or a tick. Besides some weight loss she was perfect. If it were not for Marlo and all her instructions, I would never have found Guenivere. Because of her, I was able to be united with my beautiful friend. I had practically given up before I even knew her.  Marlo's common sense approach to finding my cat was completely amazing to me and really works.
At home, when Guenivere finally saw Daisy, my Chihuahua puppy, with one quick shake of her paw indicated to all of us that she could care less." Dina Sunny Marino

Litter Box problems solved

"I was beside myself when I called Marlo.  My cat of 12 years stopped using her litter box and was smelling up our entire house.  I work at home and have clients over so this was really causing a "stinky" situation. Marlo asked me a few questions and then gave me recommendations to handle it.  They were so "common" sense -like changing her food to a less "watery" kind.  I never thought of that myself.  Marlo told me about a new kind of litter box that worked well with this problem and within 2 days - no problem, no stinky house."
Thanks Marlo.  B. C

Death of a Beloved Pet
Marlo has an incredible program to help you while you are going thru the loss of a pet.  My beloved cat of 15 years was very ill and dying.  Marlo was able to help me thru using various techniques to help my cat be much more comfortable and I actually got to spend more quality time with him before he died then I thought was possible.  She helped all the way to the end - including with the actually vet procedure when he was put to sleep.  It would have been so traumatic without her care and help.  She really helped us both to get thru it and even though I still can cry over the loss it's much better having her help.  I used Marlo's phone consultation service as I live in CA and it was perfect.  I love her completely for what she did for my cat and me.  Thank you Marlo for the fabulous service you offer.

Happy Together - F, E and R (Feline Emotion and Reaction - Introducing a new member into the family.
We recently have once again had the pleasure of Marlo Kimmel’s brilliant back-up in smoothing the introduction of our new rescue kitten, Schatzi, into our family. We were a one kitty household until a Power Kitty Rescuer, found the most perfect little rescue cat for us. Marlo's amazing instructions have turned this into a wonderful expansion us all, including our 18 lb. Lion King, Clancy, who we adopted last March. There is an ideal way to bring in a new kitty - we discovered - and a wrong way to do it too!  As a result of our learning to do it right, in less than a week, Clancy and Schatzi are racing around the house, nipping and wrestling tenderly with each other, sleeping together in a furry pile, and in short, doing everything as one.

Naturally there was some initial F, E and R (Feline Emotion and Reaction), from Clancy, who was confronted suddenly with this little kid cat who didn’t even ask his permission to meet him!  But Marlo told us exactly what to do - she magically knew exactly what was going on with the kitties, and this made the whole experience, as you can see, nothing short of a dream!

Thank you, Marlo, for sharing your remarkable knowledge and experience with us. CA
